Self-Sufficiency (SSP) Program

The Self-Sufficiency Program (SSP) program is an new program offered to State Public Housing and MRVP/AHVP residents who strive to become more self-sufficient and independent. This program works with support agencies throughout Massachusetts to help families develop strengths, skills, and experiences necessary to achieve economic independence.

The Chelsea Housing Authority has partnered with TND/Connect and the Everett Housing Authority to bring this opportunity to our State Family residents:

• Job coaching
• GED training/obtainment
• A higher education
• Financial stability
• Homeownership

This program does NOT affect your standing in regards to housing with the Chelsea Housing Authority
